Servers and communities
We mention communities such as CivMC and Stoneworks only to describe the kind of political, map-focused play the Service is built for. We are not affiliated with them, and their names belong to their owners.
Map accuracy
- Maps made from a Minecraft seed are calculated with the same world-generation math the game uses for Java Edition, based on the open-source cubiomes project (MIT License). Biome placement is designed to match the game, but heights, small features, structures and changes made by players or server plugins are not shown, and results can differ between game versions.
- Maps made from an uploaded image are read from the image’s colors and are an approximation of the area shown.
- Generated worlds, nations, cities and names are made up.
Maps are provided for fun, planning and storytelling. Do not rely on them where accuracy matters.
